JOB OBJECTIVES: (Purpose of the position)
- Designs Internet/Intranet sites that accurately reflect Unity’s goals, objectives and identity.

JOB PREREQUISITES: (Minimum qualifications needed to perform essential functions)
- Must have at least four or more years experience in Web-based graphic design.
- B.A. or B.S. in graphic design, journalism, marketing or equivalent academic and work experience.
- Requires good design and Web interface layout skills with the overall knowledge of Internet development for site maintenance.
- Excellent skills in Flash, online video/audio and digital graphics.
- Must have professional skills in DreamWeaver, Illustrator/Fireworks, Flash and Photoshop.
- Audio and video editing skills a plus.
- Must be proficient on both PC and Macintosh platforms, as well as cross-browser compatibility and integration.
- Familiar working in a CMS environment.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Have extreme attention to detail and eye for consistency.
- Must have the ability to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Candidate must be flexible and have the ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Must be a team player, self-motivated and goal-oriented.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: (Functions essential to attaining job objectives)
- Regular attendance.
- Comply with Unity policies and rules.
- Design Internet/Intranet sites that accurately reflect Unity’s goals, objectives and identity.
- Create forms and other pages that involve CSS, Java and other HTML coding.
- Develop from concept to implementation custom Web pages and graphics, or any other Web-related graphics and content.
- Collaborate with Web Strategy Manager on strategy and approach for all projects.
- Assist with wireframes, overall navigation flow and template layout/functionality.
- Ensure content format and consistency standards are maintained.
- Liaison between Web Team and Information Technology team to ensure code and design fits within industry best practice.
- Manage, organize and prioritize multiple jobs by ensuring all assigned projects are produced on time, accurate and to client specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to work at a computer for most of a nine-hour workday.
- Must be able to move freely on grounds for meetings and other duties.
- Must be able to accurately interpret both Web and printed colors.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in a fast-fast paced work environment.
