As we celebrate Independence Day in the United States on July 4th, let’s remember that true freedom—spiritual freedom—is a call from Spirit. It’s a call to live at the highest level we can, to fulfill our lives through spiritual mastery, and to contribute something of unique and lasting value to the world.

With freedom come responsibility and the awesome power to choose. But we’re never alone as we make our choices. Everything we need—strength, wisdom, peace, guidance—is but a prayer away. Our answer is yes—to freedom, to responsibility, to God.
